These are so freaking cool! They're supposed to be like umbrella's for your shoes!!! I mean, I should have thought about this long ago and I would be filthy rich by now. The idea is that you throw these on over your heels when it's wet outside to protect your *ahem* investments and they stay dry while you still look fresh, ya dig?
When I was in high school, I had to walk through a grassy field (that turned into a muddy disaster whenever it rained) to get to school every morning and to protect my kicks, I was forced to wrap plastic grocery bags around my shoes. It got the job done but I looked like a hot mess showing up in the school yard with Safeway bags as feet, not to mention the hassle it was to get the muddy bags off of my shoes without mucking up the rest of my outfit...oh man, life was SO hard!!
They come in the pink, shown above (barf), green, yellow and black. Shuella sells them for about $50 and they come with a zippered pouch.

It's Black Friday y'all, possibly the most promising day of the year for girls (and guys) like us! Take a couple tylenol, put on your tennis shoes and get to work! Here are a couple places where you can find some great sales: paper n stitch, mystyle shop, etsy and modcloth.
Don't like crowds? Still suffering from a serotonin hangover? Cyber Monday is right around the bend and there are tons of great opportunities to find without having to get off the couch.
Check out some cool stuff I found, on sale, at shopstyle.com:

This show, creates in 2005 for the Merry Karnowsky Gallery entitled Plan: B, suggests an alternate course of action to the current state of world affairs. Plan: B is an elaborate escape and survival plan devised by three fantastical counter-organizations that battle it out when western society collapses. There are The Royal Disorder; the elitist prisoners of denial and fantasy who float around in ball gowns swallowing apathy elixirs. The Orphaned Nihilist Society are part- doomed existentialists, part-paranoid militants who devise various escape shelters at the bottom of oceans and inside of caves. And lastly, The Subterraneans; a pasty doomsday cult who have been living underground for years, stockpiling and making preparations to take over when society, as we know it, collapses.
