{Belle Sauvage - LFW, Spring 2010}
I love this collection. The prints are amazing, the colors are bright and the accessories are way fun and way cool. Sauvage's A/W 2010/11 collection was fucking awesome too, but there's no way you can get me to relive any part of this winter again...I'm only moving towards Spring, no exceptions. Do check it out though.
{Six Fun Fashion Facts}
♥ In the eighteenth century the French Comte d'Artois owned a set of diamond buttons, each of which had a miniature clock encased inside it.
♥ During the Renaissance, fashionable aristocratic Italian women shaved their hair several inches back from their natural hairlines.
♥ It is within the last 200 years that children have had their own distinct clothes. They used to just wear a smaller size of adult clothing.
♥ In 1500 B.C. in Egypt a shaved head was considered the Ultlmate in feminine beauty. Egyptian women removed every hair from their heads with special gold tweezers and polished their scalps to a high sheen with buffing cloths.
♥ A clothing item is considered vintage if it dates from 1920 to 1960. After that date, an item is considered to be retro, not vintage.
♥ In the 1500's fashion designers showed off their designs by making doll size clothing versions of their own fashions.
