Booties for $20 at Torrid! 3 Hours Only!

Starting at 10am (PST), Torrid has all of their booties for sale for $19.99!

Torrid is a store that caters to curvier women like myself and some of their shoes are made to fit a wider foot and calf.  They do carry lots of shoes by Fergie and Jessica Simpson, which are suprisingly very fly and they have a normal fit.

**update: Torrid.com had some technical difficulties yesterday so they're extending this awesome sale until 11:59pm tonight!

I am down for a space vacation...

...if only I had an extra $4 million laying around!  Still, I have always dreamed of living long enough to see hovering cars, a Jetson-esque meal making machine thingy and to be able to travel to space.

Galactic Suite Ltd, set up in 2007, hopes to start its project with a single pod in orbit 280 miles above the earth, traveling at 30,000 km per hour, with the capacity to hold four dazzled guests and two astronaut-pilots.

More than 200 people have expressed an interest in traveling to the space hotel and at least 43 people have already reserved.  There are critics who think the time frame is unreasonable and

Although, at this point, sipping margarita's while floating through space is still a little far fetched considering the fortune it would cost me and my belief that we're all going to die in 2012...I still can't help but to be excited about the sheer possibility of it all.

What would a trip to the outer regions of the universe be worth to YOU?

Sia - Sunday.

OH Em Gee!

I am a little obsessed with the Twilight books and even more obsessed with it's main character Edward Cullen and the actor that plays him, Robert Pattinson.  I know he's a little off the subject for this blog, but it won't stop me from sharing my love for him every once in a while.  So deal with it...OK?  It can't be that bad, just LOOK at him!  You do know that he's the reason I am single, right?  Yea, I tend to compare everyone to him.

I'm pathetic.

If you are into Twilight and/or Rob, check out my friend's blog: My Life With A Twilight Obsession.  It's great!

I wish I was Kristen Stewart.  That is all.  :)

Happy Birthday Hello Kitty!

Happy 34th Birthday Hello Kitty!  We love you!

6 Tips for Finding Fashion at a Thrift Store

1. First look for the colors that you look best in.  Go down the racks looking for color first.  You don't even have to pull an article of clothing off the rack until you discover a color that you are attracted to.

2. Next, check out the design lines of the garment. Do you prefer animated designs, stylized designs, or more angles and points in your designs? Look at the collars, pockets, hemlines, and necklines. If the design lines are not right for you, put it back.

3. Fabrication is the next item to consider in a garment. Do you like soft flowing, plush, comfy fabrics? Or do you prefer more structured, fitted garments? The sure way to know if the garment you are considering is right for you, try it on? How does it feel? Does it feel good on your body, only get it if you can say YES!

4. Now look at the pattern – if it has a pattern. Maybe you prefer less pattern or no pattern at all. Is it a pattern that you are attracted to? Is it too busy or too simple? Many women do not even like pattern and prefer solid colors in their clothes. If the pattern is right for you, move on to the next step!

5. If the article of clothing has made it this far, your next step is to look it over for quality. Are there any tears, rips, spots, or flaws? I find many new garments with their price tags and brand tags still hanging on the garment – bonus find!

6. Your last step is a simple question to ask yourself – “do you love it.” I no longer settle for clothes I don’t love and feel good in. I have to be able to say “I love it!” It doesn’t matter what you are paying for it, don’t talk yourself into an article of clothing you can’t say you love even if it is a great thrift store price. If you don’t love it , it will hang in your closet just to gather dust.

...i'm sorry but I can't find the source for this, but I didn't write it so i'm sorry to the person who did...i'm a newbie...i won't do it again...:(
